Written by Justin Brown | Jan 20, 2025 5:38:14 PM

We wanted to reach out regarding the recent cybersecurity news about the unauthorized disclosure of over 15,000 Fortinet device configurations. As part of our commitment to cybersecurity, we want to assure you that none of our clients using Fortinet devices have been impacted by this incident.

Here’s why:

  • Proactive Monitoring: Our team received alerts about this incident and verified that none of our clients' devices are running the firmware versions impacted.
  • Cross-Referencing Public IPs: We conducted a detailed cross-reference of all public IPs in our monitoring systems with the list of released IP's and confirmed that none of your devices are included in the list.
  • Best Practices: As part of our standard approach, we avoid using initial feature releases (e.g., .0 builds) or early follow-up versions (e.g., .1 builds) for critical infrastructure. This practice helps minimize exposure to vulnerabilities like this one.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take additional actions if necessary to ensure your IT environment remains secure.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns or get alerts that you think may impact you or your company, please do not hesitate to reach out to your CSM or our support team.

Thank you for trusting us to protect your organization.

Best regards,
RoundTable Technology
